Dakota Skies Gallery & Sculpture Garden

Recently, I wandered over to Dakota Dreamscape's new gallery, Dakota Skies Gallery and Sculpture Garden, with my friend Zachh. I have always been curious about how gallery owners find artists or how artists find gallery owners. I think Second

New Caerleon

Photo by Lainy VoomWhen first landing at New Caerleon (SLURL) you feel that you're in an art supply junkyard. Wandering around huge tubes of oil paints, and discarded picture frames, you wonder what might be here! That's why I wanted to do this write up, because you might miss the amazing place that New Caerleon is!

Gitano Park by AuraKyo Insoo

Artist AuraKyo Insoo has created many installations over the two-plus years she's been in world, and you can see some of her work at Gitano Park. It is here that you can find outdoor scupltures and her main gallery, K y o  House, a place for periodic exhibitions and works in process, but she's also placed "Inner Garden" at this location.

Ginsberg Art Gallery

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today's LM, Ginsberg Art Gallery, is a beautiful gallery owned by Tommy Parrott. This gallery is HUGE and offers many different styles of art and sculpture. My write up is short, but only because I want to spend time enjoying the variety of art on display here!

Sculptie Paradise

Timmi Allen's Sculptie Paradise is a sight to see and marvel.
He has created a wonderful garden of scuplties--from statues, to farm animals, to furniture to African Elephants! You won't believe your eyes when you're riding on a sculptie/scripted horse. Or when you hear the elephant's loud call as his trunk raises realistically into the air at you! What better a place to start off your Friday!? Do make sure you go there and visit this amazing place!

Garden of Memespelunk

Garden of Memespelunk, today's LM of the Day, is art in motion, sound, and light. It's beautiful and different. I stumbled across this build while searching SL Artists. Juria Yoshikawa, RL artist has brought to Second Life™ a flavor of her own!

This is just one area where you can see her creations. The colors, movement and sounds, accompanied by the surroundings, give you a moment of realizing you're definitely in SL™. Love them or hate them, just go see them!!

la citte dormiente (The Sleeping City)

la citte dormiente Things to Do member, Krissy Sinclair writes: "This is a wondrous place that I stumbled across. It is the sleeping civility. When you TP in, you will be in the main building. Look around, be free. Then go outside and explore. But at some point fly straight up from the main building. You will find an amazing build. It is a living sculpture, not hindered by the ground. It speaks of love and life. Be sure to look deep in the center for the tree of life."

Thanks Krissy!
